VBS 2018 "Proof Pirates"

June 25th - June 29th, 2018

Calling all scallywags! At PROOF Pirates VBS this year we will have an adventure as we discover God's grace together! We will journey though the book of Ephesians to learn more about the grace that our Savior gives us. We desire that our children will be amazed that God reached down and saved scallywags like us! Jesus is our greatest treasure!
VBS is from 9am-12pm, June 25th-29th.
Please register your child/children based on the grade they will be entering in the fall. For example, if your child will be starting 3rd grade in the fall, please sign them up for the 3rd grade category. If you are signing up multiple children, each child will be signed up separately.
If you would like to volunteer, please sign up under the volunteer category, and use the drop down menu to pick the job in which you are interested in serving.

Looking forward to this great adventure with your kids!

Camp theme and details on what students will be learning:

Student Life Camp 2018 will explore the characteristics of the one and only living God (Deuteronomy 6:4), as experienced by Moses and the Israelites throughout Exodus. Rather than reduce God to a single attribute, your students will encounter the complete nature of an indescribable Creator (Exodus 3:14) who, in His grace and holiness (Exodus 12) and through the gift of His Son, lavishes love to His people. (Exodus 19) He promises to be with them (Exodus 40:34-38) both now and forever. Unlike our current culture, which suffers from intense “god” confusion, your students will have a clear picture of not only God’s character, but also how He relates to His children. They will return home with a firm theological and relational foundation to form a God-centered worldview and decision-making process.

Day 1: I AM who I AM
Exodus 3:14 - “God replied to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you.’”

Exodus 12:27 -“You are to reply, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice to the LORD, for he passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt when he struck the Egyptians and spared our homes.’ So the people knelt low and worshiped.”

Exodus 19:5-6 - “Now if you will carefully listen to me and keep my covenant, you will be my own possession out of all the peoples, although the whole earth is mine, and you will be my kingdom of priests and my holy nation.’”

Exodus 40:36-38 - “Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out. But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out till the day that it was taken up. For the cloud of the LORD was on the tabernacle by day, and re was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.”
